Greenhouse construction. Rick, the owner, has a unique
background which helped create the company.
After getting a degree from Pensacola Junior College I
went to work for Teller Landscaping in Eugene Oregon. When
the economy deteriorated in the 1980's I moved to Dallas
Texas where I started my own landscape company.
After installing over 150 landscape and irrigation systems I decided to start raising bedding plants and did that for the next four
years. It was during this time that I got a lot of insight into
how greenhouses work.
After this period I went to the University of Oregon to take
some architecture courses. By taking the entire sequence of courses
devoted to engineering I was able to understand how structures
work. By taking numerous Architecture History courses I was able
to see how styles changed from one generation to the next.
After college I got into construction eventually having my
own licensed construction company. With the skills acquired
I have created some new ideas for greenhouse construction.
